Our client serves global market with innovative and feature-rich mobile phones, accessories, PC cards and M2M solutions. Established as joint venture with London headquarters, they employ 5,000 people, including R&D sites in Europe, Japan, China and America.

Their "Developer World" is global support program and web portal totally dedicated to helping serious, wireless developers achieve business success by providing documentation, tools, training, technical and go-to-market support they need in their development process. It helps developers get on fast track from mind to market, thereby ensuring that constant stream of fun, useful and innovative content and applications is available for their phones.

As TOOLS PRODUCT MANAGER for their Developer World program, your primary role will be to plan, define and maintain tools and documentation services mobile developers need to create high quality applications and content for mobile phones.

You will be product owner for selected third-party tools, software development kits (SDKs) and emulators. Your responsibilities will include managing and developing strategies and roadmaps for these tools as well as negotiating various agreements and handling our relationships with tools vendors. And with tools in place, it will be your job to make sure that they are made accessible to, and used by, developers.

Your contribution will largely depend upon your ability to understand needs of developers and to provide right tools to meet these needs. In order to accomplish this, it is likely you will have Master of Science, or equivalent and documented education and / or experience in Business Administration. You should have at least 5 to 10 years of experience within tools or software product management, good understanding of software and software development tools business thanks to own programming background. Good knowledge and experience of Symbian OS Tools is advantage.

Since you will be working in high-pressure, highly demanding international environment, you must have ability to handle several projects at same time and perseverance and accountability to follow each project through. You should also have ability to immediately create atmosphere of trust and to build strong relationships. Ability to deliver interesting and engaging presentations on subjects within your area of responsibility is also must.

Fluency in English is given, Swedish optional. Fluency in additional languages, primarily Chinese or Japanese, will be to your definite advantage. Relocation support will be offered.
