Job Description
Town Planner to undertake the preparation and submission of planning applications for low complexity commercial and operational railway projects.
Brief:
To undertake the preparation and submission of the required notifications on General Permitted Developments Order rights, Listed Buildings, Tree Preservation Orders and to maintain comprehensive records.
To undertake the preparation, submission and negotiation on planning appeals for commercial and operational railway projects.
To ensure that appropriate representations are made to protect Network Rail's interests on emerging local authority development plans and attend.
To undertake the provision of heritage advice on complex and sensitive commercial and operational railway projects
Would suit:
A degree within a relevant professional subject 3 years experience in Town Planning Good experience in preparing and presenting town planning submissions, particularly at public inquiries Good knowledge of town planning legislation and General Permitted Development Order
Rate / Duration:
£200 - £300 per day, Expected 4 months
