A Traffic Engineer is required to join an established traffic and transportation team of 9 Engineers and Technicians in Wakefield. Current project work is for private developers ranging in size from small residential work through to large commercial work. Your role will involve carrying out detailed design work, conducting transport assessments, implementing traffic management & road safety schemes and liaising with relevant bodies.

Qualifications/Skills Required

To apply for the position of Traffic Engineer you must have a degree in Civil Engineering preferably with a relevant masters. You must have demonstrable previous UK based experience working in a similar role within an engineering consultancy. You should be familiar with traffic and transport assessments and procedures and should have knowledge of computer analysis from junction assessment.
