Job Description
To ensure the smooth running of offices throughout UK & Europe. Ensuring contractors maintain facilities to a high standard. Overall Role. Take responsibility for Facilities budgets across UK locations working with Office Managers to review budget variances, track budget/spend and action cost saving initiatives etc. Management of Company Insurance Policies throughout Europe and co-ordination with brokers in Europe and USA. Management of office services and facilities team to provide high level of office services to UK, including internal moves; acquisition of furniture and frequent minor internal changes, day-to-day postal/courier/office support. Management of Reception and Phone Systems and support (with Office Managers). Develop and build teams across all locations. Build virtual team environment. Ensure 24x7x365 operation of data centre environments (air con, power, ups, generators etc). Review emergency backup procedures and ensure regular testing etc. Manage all Vendor contracts (with Office Managers) Manage office moves; relocations; acquisitions and disposals. Provide support and technical advice to European offices during refurbishments; office relocation; acquisition and disposal. Company Health & Safety Advisor : Health & Safety Law; Fire; Risk Assessment; Employer/Employee Liability; Occupational Health Services; etc. Ensure compliance in all locations. Management of all ?hard and soft? contracts e.g. Mechanical and Electrical Planned, Preventative Maintenance; Grounds Maintenance; Cleaning and Janitorial; Catering; Security; CCTV; Access Control Systems; Telecoms. Facilitate periodic account/service review meetings. Management of security systems and procedures including mobile guarding, Redcare monitoring and CCTV operations. Operating to agreed SLAs. Working with Office Managers. Preparation of and reporting on facilities KPIs Liaise with local and regional authorities (with Office Managers) Production of detailed management reports as required Site Specific (WRTC) Acting as site specific facilities manager for Technology Centre (key UK data centre facility) with local support associate(s).

Technical Skills
Essential - 3-5 years in a Senior Role.
Essential - Member of British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM)
Minimum - NEBOSH Certificate in Health & Safety, Diploma Preferred.
Preferred - Experience of procuring and managing Corporate Insurance
Essential : Experience in large data centers; Air Conditioning, Generators, UPS etc
Other: A European language (preferably French or German) would be an advantage.
