Job Description
Join a team of hydrogeologists that have produced significant technical guidance to the Environment Agency on various aspects of contaminant hydrogeology and groundwater protection, and carried out work for a range of waste management and industrial clients. Work closely with more senior staff to deliver projects related to landfill (groundwater, leachate issues) and other areas such as contaminated land impacts on groundwater. Your responsibilities would include data collection, assessment and interpretation, report preparation and some project management and client liaison.
Qualifications/Skills Required
First Degree: BSc Geology, or related subject
Second Degree: MSc or PhD Hydrogeology desirable
Focus: Project Delivery
Experience: Ideally you will have a track record in undertaking landfill hydrogeology projects and have other skills related to groundwater protection (e.g. contaminated land P20 risk assessment, diffuse pollution, mines and quarries).
