Job Description

We're looking for the person Macromedia looks for when they need help with Flash. You're energetic, responsible and love working in a team environment. Flash is your interactive weapon of choice, and you're not afraid to use it. As a Flash developer, you should have the following skills:

Actionscript. You know it, you live it, you dream it. Okay, that might be a bit too compulsive even for us. Lighten up just a bit, maybe enjoy a run in the fields to cool you down

Experience incorporating video in Flash.

Flash Remoting and/or server integration via XML. You're a much happier person when the data is dynamic.

Proficient in using OOP in Actionscript.

Attention to detail. You check everything, then you check it again. You check it a third time just to make sure. Everything is lining up. Things are spelled correctly. Edits are complete only when they're actually complete and verified. At this point you might check it a fourth time.

You're going to need to take files from a designer and integrate your AS magic. You'll work with our programmers on integrating dynamic content solutions. You can understand site strategy/information architecture documents to create the appropriate solution. You can communicate effectively with our project managers, and integrate feedback/fixes from our QA and Testing department.
