Job Description

Established in 1997 this organisation is an independent renewable energy company that combines managerial expertise, technical capability and Wind Business knowledge to provide a wide range of Wind Energy Services.

Their "know-how" comprises Pre-Construction, Construction and Project Management of EPC ("turnkey") projects plus Operation and Maintenance, based on 30+ wind farms across 6 countries, totalling 400+ MW.

Able to offer fully flexible services they pride themselves on always being able to adapt to Client's particular needs and wishes.

A Wind Power Engineer with experience of commissioning and maintenance (or experience in one and knowledge of the other) for either Vestas V47 or Gamesa G47 wind turbines.

Initially you will bring two previously installed turbines online on an existing site in Sunderland with 8 other similar units on it. Your role will then be to oversee an assistant and look after all 10 turbines to ensure that they are working safely and productively.

Qualifications/Skills Required

To be successful in applying for this Wind Power Engineer position you need to be knowledgeable with the Vestas V47 or Gamesa G47 turbines or very similar models.

It is also essential that you have either maintained or commissioned these units previously and ideally would have fulfilled both roles.

Ideally you will be used to supervising a small team but that is not essential as this position is suitable for someone who is looking to move in to their first management position.
