SearchForJobs is free to use. The free tier gives you three AI actions a month — fit grades, tailored CVs, cover letters and application Q&A drafts — with PDF export included, and it stays free permanently rather than expiring into a trial.
No card is required to sign up. The paid tier exists for people applying at volume, not as a gate on the useful parts.
What does the SearchForJobs paid plan include?
The Pro plan is £9 a month and removes the monthly cap: unlimited A–F fit grades, unlimited tailored CVs and cover letters that you can regenerate as often as you like, unlimited application Q&A drafts, PDF export, and priority access to new features such as the scanner and Chrome extension.
It is monthly and cancellable at any time from Account → Manage subscription. Card details are handled by Stripe; SearchForJobs never sees or stores them.
Can I build a tailored CV for free in the UK?
Yes. SearchForJobs will tailor a CV to a specific UK job description on the free tier, using one of your three monthly AI actions. You paste the job advert, the tool rewrites your CV against what that advert actually asks for, and you export it as a PDF.
The reason tailoring matters more than formatting is that most UK applications are filtered on relevance to the specific role before a human reads them. A beautifully designed generic CV loses to a plain one that answers the advert.
